    A historical overview of the Sanhour Charity Association

    Distinctive activity in the field of charitable work

    First: Association data:

    Advertising :  Registered No.  2225  of 2015 

    Dependency :  Beheira Governorate - Social Solidarity Directorate - Damanhour Administration

    Location :  Beheira Governorate, Damanhour Center - Senhour - the house of the late Amin Al-Bambawi - next to the school complex - and the association building. A house consists of 2 rented printers on each floor, 3 rooms, a hall and a bathroom. There is a kitchen and a courtyard in front of each floor, suitable for holding seminars. The association is properly established, suitable for managing work, with 2 desks, a cabinet, a cupboard for storing documents, a computer, a printer, fixed and movable chairs, a telephone with an Internet connection, and 2 large tables for meetings. It has all the necessary facilities, including water and electricity.

    Activity :  The service field - social - religious - cultural - medical - the most caring families   

    Reconciling the situation :  The status of the association has been reconciled in accordance with Law No. 149 of 2019

    Board of Directors :  It consists of five members:

    General Assembly :  The General Assembly consists of 48 members from all segments of society in Sinhor, scholars, Muslim and Christian clerics, and women.

    Volunteers :  The association, in addition to members of the Board of Directors and members of the General Assembly, is served by 16 young men and women volunteers to carry out research, follow-up, computer printing, awareness-raising, and communication with case owners, free of charge.

    Budgets The Association:  A general budget for the association's activity and an account of revenues and expenses is prepared annually since the association was announced, and it is submitted in a timely manner after its approval by the Board of Directors and presentation to the General Assembly after its approval by the chartered accountant as well A copy of it will be delivered to the administrative authority.  

    Association activity:

    a) Charitable work:  where food and financial aid is provided to families in need, assistance is provided to widows and orphans, and participation in the marriage of incapable women and those with special abilities. Disease cases. 

    b) Social activity:Consultations are provided to community members in the fields of birth control, family counseling, and dispute resolution through teams of specialists including doctors, legal experts, and clergy. It also celebrates religious and national occasions, and carries out the activity of facilitating Hajj and Umrah trips. 

    c)  Medical activity:  Medical services are provided according to a protocol that was worked out with the village's 12 doctors in various specialties, and the examination is free of charge, and there are 7 pharmacies and 4 laboratories. Tests to provide discounted services at a value of 40% are paid through the association. Campaigns were also organized to prevent Virus C by examining more than 7,000 citizens in the villages of Sanhur, Beni Hilal, Nafra, and Al-Khazzan. A number of 1,200 positive cases were discovered and they were completely treated at Damanhour Fever Hospital. Eight campaigns were also conducted over a period of three months to vaccinate against the new Corona virus, a first and second dose, in cooperation with the Directorate of Health Affairs.     Collaboration with institutions:

    a)  Misr Al Kheir Foundation:  Established a permanent protocol with the Foundation to disburse food supplies, sacrifice deeds, and a housing and warming initiative, where 20 houses and water connections were installed. For 2 houses.

    b)  Sonaa Al-Khair Foundation:  A permanent protocol has been established with the Foundation to dispense food supplies, and conduct medical convoys to treat various diseases, especially eye diseases, such as detection, treatment, and making medical glasses  and performing operations. Free (white and blue water) 

    c)  Nour Al-Oyoun Foundation:  A protocol was established with the Foundation to conduct medical convoys to examine the eyes and perform the necessary operations.

    )  Orman Foundation:  A protocol was established with the foundation to distribute food and medical supplies.

    e)  Abdul Hakim Hashem Foundation:  A protocol has been established with the Foundation to distribute food supplies

    f)  Abu Al-Enein Foundation for Humanitarian Work:  A protocol has been established with the Foundation to distribute food supplies to eligible cases.

    g)  Egyptian Shepherd Foundation for Humanitarian Work:  A protocol was established with the Foundation to conduct 4 medical convoys in eye diseases, gynecology and children's diseases

    h)  The National Council for Women:  Eight seminars were held to educate women about the harms of early marriage for girls, the requirements of reproductive health, birth control, and not exaggerating dowries.

    i)  American University:  Participated in holding seminars on programs to prepare girls for integration into the labor market and holding training courses.

    j)  Directorate of Health Affairs:  Vaccination campaigns against the new Corona virus were conducted for a period of 8 full weeks in partnership with the association and the provision of respirators, oxygen tubes and related accessories. Free of charge, with full care for patients’ families.

    K)  Damanhour Civil Registry:  We were present at the association’s headquarters for 4 consecutive weeks to obtain and renew 800 free national identification cards for women
